Birds in The Everglades National Park
12/03/13 11:29 Filed in: Environment
Boris and I wanted to share these photo taken an Everglades National Park. The birds were warming themselves in the sun after an unusually chilly night for South Florida. No need for binoculars, the birds seemed to be posing for us as they thawed in the sun.
We saw a variety of wading birds including the White Ibis, the Great White Heron, Anhingas, Pelicans, Coots, Ducks, Loons and Cormorants. What a treat to stroll along the banks of the warm shallow waters gawking at the birds! We would love to hear from you if you have seen these birds and would like share your stories.
